XONR8
The XONR8 project is an amazing project that helps people who have been wrongfully convicted of crimes and for that imprisoned we are working with student lawyers to help prove these peoples innocence. Our part in this project is to go over the cases and try to prove and show with evidence is our client would be guilty or innocent. Once we make our decision we make a presentation to present to the lawyers and then they take our words into consideration, and then they decide whether or not to continue the investigation on getting him out of jail or staying in jail. http://californiainnocenceproject.org/
Case Memos
In this part of the project my group and I were given many case files and we had to read through everything, literally and we could not skip one single page because this was not no, here ill give you this fake client with a fake story, and your going to pretend to take him out of jail, or at least come up with a good argument on why the client should or shouldn't be exonerate. No this was a real person, who was depending on us and was putting all his trust on us to help him get out of jail and possibly start his life over again. The most difficult part of this project for me personally was not letting my emotions get into the project, not letting my personal opinion and what i wanted to happen get in the was of the facts and what was the truth. To be completely honest that held me back a lot in the beginning of the project and I would not allow myself to get so engaged into the project so I would prevent myself from possibly getting attached to this person that I could potentially help. That was my biggest struggle, putting aside my opinion and looking at the facts. I also struggled with the vocabulary, wow! I had never seen so many unfamiliar words in one paragraph. Making the decision was also very hard, my group and I decided to just present the facts to the California Innocence Project and let them decide if they wanted to further investigate the case, with that we gave them both sides, we present the guilty evidence we found, as well as we presented the innocent verdict as well.

Presentation to CIP (California Innocence Project)
I would without a doubt give my group and myself a 4, I think we did really awesome! We practiced our presentation so many times, they were very supportive on helping memorize my notes cards. I had everything memorized so well that I didn't even use my note cards when we presented to the CIP lawyers. Individually I would give myself a 4 as well, because I was very proud of my work in this project I really stepped out of my comfort zone and learned how to deal with things I would've never in my life imagined I would ever to deal with. My highest point was definitely learning how to focus on the facts of the case, and my lowest point was thinking i wouldn't be able to put my personal opinion to find the facts.
